The court of search titles
Search marketers hand each other crowns. King of SEO. King of AEO. Godfather. searchengine.forum is where the people who watch that happen argue about who holds what, on what evidence, and whether any of it means anything.
The titles are informal. Nobody confers them, nobody can take them away, and most of them were put in a bio by the person wearing them. That does not make them uninteresting. It makes them a very honest record of who wants to be seen as what. This forum treats the claims the way a herald would treat a coat of arms: record who uses it, when, and where, and let the argument happen in the open. We argue. The Roll records. Nobody here votes anyone onto it.
The Roll, as this forum reads it
The College of Search Arms opened the Roll of the SEO Peerage on 4 September 2026. Eleven seats. Four held, one dormant, six empty. Recording is not endorsement: Held means one public claimant, the link on file, no rival. Nothing more.
How Seals work
Reputation here is measured in Seals. When other members upvote a dated claim, a correction or a record that helped them, you earn Seals. Forum ranks are court offices, not peerage ranks, so nobody confuses being a Herald here with being on the Roll.
- Commoner · 0+ Seals. New here. Reading, lurking, taking no side.
- Courtier · 500+ Seals. Posting, dating claims, asking who said it first.
- Herald · 2,500+ Seals. Keeps the record straight. Corrects the thread, with links.
- Chancellor · 10,000+ Seals. The posts people quote back at each other.
- Kingmaker · 40,000+ Seals. Top tier. Nobody gave them power. The notes did.
Community rules
- The claim, not the person. Post what someone called themselves, where, and when. Nothing about their work, clients, prices or character.
- Dates and links or it did not happen. Public, dated, still online. Screenshots of screenshots do not count.
- Consent before nomination. Nobody gets proposed for a seat unless they use the style themselves or agreed to be nominated.
- Do not tag or contact holders. If they want to take part, they know where the College is.
- Recording is not endorsement. Nothing here says anyone deserves a title. It says they claimed one.
Why members only?
Anyone can read the front page and a preview of each forum. Full threads, the dated evidence, the Letters Patent links and posting are reserved for members. It keeps the signal high and the drive-by nominations out. Registration is free and takes about 30 seconds. This is an independent community, not affiliated with Google, Microsoft, any other search engine, the College of Search Arms, or any person named on the Roll.
